- I want to set up a modem to access some of our services more securely using
- dialback. The 'called' end is a Courier, the caller is a Sportster. The
- Courier is set up to prompt for a password, then dial back. All works fine,
- except after the Courier hangs up it waits about a minute before redialling.
- According to the UK tech support people this is normal, though no-one knows
- why. This sounds unlikely to me. Does anyone know if the wait can be avoided?
- Come to that, does anyone know another modem that doesn't do this? I'd ask
- the suppliers, but I wouldn't trust them to give me an accurate answer.
-
- Thanks
